Who is Picsolve
Picsolve is an international group of attraction photography providers. We operate within partner sites, e.g. theme parks, museums, stadia and other attractions and provide physical and digital photography to their guests.

How we use your information
We use your information to enhance your Picsolve experience for you and your family and friends. That includes doing things like:
  • Recommending things which we think you’ll like, such as rides or experiences
  • Notifying you about things you’ve told us you like, like a new ride, special events
  • Personalising your experience at our attractions, theme parks e.g. automated photo album creation through our app
We also use it for business, regulatory and legal purposes, like:
  • Dealing with any requests you make or content you submit
  • Getting in touch if we need to tell you about something, like a change to our policies or issues with a service
  • Giving you the right information for where you are
Picsolve adheres to all Local Data protection Laws, where applicable, including Privacy Shield. As a UK / EU based company, Picsolve implements Data Protection under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 and the UK Data Protection Act 2018, regardless of location.

How long will you keep my data?
Well normally only keep your data for as long as necessary to provide you with the services you have signed up for. All photos are removed from our systems after 90 days to protect your privacy.

Do you share my data with other organisations?
We use your data to improve your experience. Our service means that we keep your data inside Picsolve unless give us your permission to share it, with for example:
  • to provide you with content and services through a partner’s platform
  • if you agree to marketing emails and personalisation, to show you relevant messaging on your social media platforms, to let you know about Picsolve news, events or offers we think you’ll enjoy
In exceptional circumstances, we may share your information without your permission if we reasonably believe you might be breaking the law, for example committing a criminal offence on the site, and such disclosure is allowed under the relevant laws, including data protection law.
If you use our website or apps outside the UK or EU, our advertising partners may use your data to show you information on experiences in attractions and theme parks elsewhere outside the UK.

When we share your data outside Picsolve
We rarely share data, but if we do we will:
  • Only share with your explicit consent
  • Always share it in a secure way
  • Make sure it’s treated consistently with our privacy policy and under a signed Data Protection Agreement with the 3rd party
  • Not allow other companies to use it to contact you with their own marketing
  • Always anonymise data where it can be anonymised
Your rights under the GDPR are unaffected and you may enact them at any time by contacting privacy@picsolve.com.

People who contact us via social media
Picsolve operates a social media presence, including Facebook and Twitter. We urge that you read their individual privacy notices. Any posts made to our public presence will be viewable by anyone visiting our pages. Any private messages sent via these sites will be treated with the same respect as our other communications channels.

People who call
Picsolve does not provide a customer facing helpline, however, if you have indicated that you are willing to be contacted by telephone, Picsolve may call you. If you do supply Picsolve with a telephone number, we will only use it for the purpose for which it was supplied. Picsolve will not add your telephone number to any kind of directory. We will not pass your number to any third party without your prior and explicit consent. Picsolve does not record calls; however, details such as your name and contact details, and details of the support case, may be added to our ticketing system, Autotask.

People who email us
Our email is served through Microsoft’s Office 365 platform, which is managed by our IT service provider, 81g Blue. Picsolve maintains several Information Security and General IT polices around the use of email. The policies cover such requirements as not sharing your details with a third party, unless necessary to resolve your request. In these circumstances, we will always seek your explicit consent first. Picsolve will not add your email address to any mailing lists or subscription services, unless you explicitly ask to be added.

Who will your personal information be shared with?
In the event of a complaint or request, and with your explicit consent, we may share some or all your information with the owners of the sites in which we operate. For example, where the complaint is not directly related to a Picsolve operation or we require our partners’ assistance in resolving your request.
Picsolve collects aggregated, anonymised data to enable us to monitor our services and performance.  This data has no link to any identifiable individual and is used for internal monitoring purposes only, such as for service utilisation or peak hours.
Picsolve may share this anonymised data with our partners, e.g. to indicate performance or for financial purposes. This information will never contain the personal information of our guests.

People who use Picsolve services
Picsolve provides two main outlets of services, physical and digital copies of images taken and sold at our partners’ attractions or locations and digital purchase online from selected, global attractions.
Picsolve operates our photography services under the lawful basis of legitimate business interests. We are unable to shut down our cameras at the request of specific individuals at attractions. However, any imagery will be removed immediately upon request at the point of sale. We will not profile your personal data without your consent. Your image may be processed only to add graphics and resize for initial display.
When visiting any physical outlet of Picsolve, you may enact any of your GDPR rights by speaking to a member of our customer services team.
When using our online services, it is important to review our Cookie Policy. Our online applications may require a form of login identification to help maintain the security of your imagery. Picsolve does collect anonymous usage statistics through Google analytics.
Any personal details that you provide will not be used for any purpose other than those explicitly stated at time of collection.

Your rights
You may enact your rights at any time by contacting privacy@picsolve.com. We will enact a Data Subject Access Request within a month of receipt, except in extreme circumstances. Picsolve will endeavour to keep you informed during the entire process.
